Arthsharetoday.com is an online art gallery that allows artists from all backgrounds to sell their art. You don't necessarily have to "be somebody" to sell your artwork here, although we do welcome professional artists as well. Ralph Waldo Emerson once said "Every artist was first an amateur." Here at Artsharetoday.com we take that quote into consideration. - Why does ArtShareToday.com charge memberships?
We charge memberships because we believe it helps detour scammers and predators from the artist's and buyers. It's not guaranteed that you won't be scammed but we believe that it may be less likely to happen since everyone has to pay to receive other's personal information, such as email address. Also, we may do extensive advertising to attract customers to the site and in return they are attracted to the content on the site. - Do you charge commission on sales?
No. All profit from the sale of your product is yours to keep. - How do I purchase an art piece?
Once you have paid for a membership you may purchase any art piece on the site that is for sale, as well as upload any of your own original art. Please DO NOT upload anything that is not your own work. If you come across an art piece that you love then feel free to contact the artist using the "Click here for information on purchasing this piece". We recommend using Escrow.com. They can arrange to accept payment from the buyer and hold it for you, and then verify that your customer receives the art in good condition, and then release the funds to you. Often times this can make a transaction between two parties who do not know each other much safer.
